Does the app connect to my bank account?
No. The app never connects to your bank. You manually enter card names, limits and spending. We do not ask for, receive or store card numbers, CVV codes or internet banking credentials.
Where is my data stored?
All your financial data is stored only on your device using local storage. Our servers never receive a copy. Only your reminder email address (if you enable email reminders) is stored on our server.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) → Account → Subscriptions → find "Okay & Co. Credit Card Tracker" → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
All locally-stored data is permanently deleted. We strongly recommend creating an encrypted backup (Settings → Data Management → Encrypted Backup) before uninstalling.
I'm not receiving email reminders.
1) Check that email reminders are enabled in Settings. 2) Verify your email address (a 6-digit code is sent). 3) Check your spam/junk folder. 4) Confirm you have notification credits remaining for the month. If still not working, email us — we can help diagnose.
Push notifications are not appearing on Android.
On Android, ensure: 1) Notification permission is granted (in app settings); 2) Battery optimization is disabled for the app (Android may delay notifications); 3) "Do not disturb" mode is not active during the scheduled time.
Can I use the app on multiple devices?
Currently, the app does not have cloud sync. Each device stores its own data locally. To migrate to a new device: Settings → Data Management → Encrypted Backup → save the file → on the new device, restore the backup.
What's the difference between Pro and Max plans?
Pro allows 4-20 cards and 20 notification credits per month, plus bank grouping. Max includes unlimited cards/loans/overdrafts, 100 notification credits, advanced analytics, company profile, and the deposit opportunity assistant.
Is the app available offline?
Yes. Once installed, all core features (tracking, calendar, payments, local notifications) work offline. Only email reminders and subscription verification require an internet connection.
How do I request data deletion?
For local data: Uninstall the app. For server-stored email/reminder data: send a request to info@okanokayandco.com from the email address you registered. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
